After days and days of rain and cold weather, I went outside this afternoon to see if any of my plants had survived. Not only did they survive, but I found that some beautiful flowers had grown when I was not aware! I freshly planted two rose varieties this spring in the back yard near the house. They have bloomed all year, but nothing prepared me for the beauty of today. The picture I took this afternoon was from the Peace Tea Rose and it measured over 6 inches across. I think it's the biggest bloom I've had in any my gardens ever! If you look closely, you can still see the glistening droplets from this morning's rain showers on the leaves and petals. Wow! Isn't God's beauty amazing?
