Friday Morning - Waiting & Verses to Stand On!

I have not heard anything from Sharon yet this morning and nothing is on her blog.  I know how very tired they were yesterday and I am glad we declared a "sabbath" for them.  I know it was was good.

A SLEEPLESS NIGHT:
Many of you may have heard that out here in Missouri - we had very severe weather last night.  In the early afternoon they were saying that we may not get anything - by 6pm the severe weather watches were up - by 9 they were blowing the tornado sirens in most of the counties around KC!  I have heard that 2 touched down, but I haven't seen the news this morning to know exactly where.  We never lost power, although the lights flicked off several times. Many around here did lose power! Then again at 2am, a " bow" echo was indicated on radar pointed right for us.   We had terrible straight line winds, some in excess of 80mph.  As far as we can tell, nothing at our house was damaged.  I just thank the Lord that His hand was on us yet again!    So, if you live in Indiana... you're probably in for some more storms this morning and Ohio will be under severe weather watches as far as I could tell on the Weather Channel.

WAITING:
Yesterday morning when I woke up, the Lord was speaking to me about waiting.   Little did I know that was what the bulk of yesterday would turn into!  He led me to a verse that we could all relate to,

"And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, Heal her now, O God, I beseech thee."  Numbers 12:13 (KJV)

Isn't that just like us?  We want God to do whatever He is going to do RIGHT NOW!  I can testify that God always has perfect timing.  His timing is not ours, but He will never be late.  He may make you sweat it out, but He'll always come through in the end with His perfect will.  His work is so multifaceted, but we know He will work for His glory, His purposes, and our good.  "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose."   Romans 8:28

VERSES:

Here are some verses I found this morning that we can stand on!

" So the Lord must wait for you to come to Him so He can show you His love and compassion.   For the Lord is a faithful God.  Blessed are those who wait for his help. O people of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more.   He will be gracious if you ask for help. He will surely respond to the sound of your cries."   Isaiah 30:18

Doesn't that sound like the "MAY GOD" factor I wrote about yesterday?

These a good ones- notice the "heart"?

"Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD."
Psalm 27:14

We need to be praying for Mom's heart today that God will heal anything that may have been damaged (no reports have indicated any damage - but we want God to heal if anything needs healed) and that it will function as it is supposed to!

"By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us."  Romans 5:2-5

And finally:

"For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise."  Hebrews 10:36

We are claiming the fruit of the promise right now!

Thank you all for praying and I will post more later.
