Well, this post should be called "What We Don't Know" because I don't know a whole lot except that Sharon and Dad are up at the hospital. I talked to my Aunt Phyllis and to my bro-in-law and they both confirmed that there was a problem with Mom's care last night. Apparently she needed some help getting cleaned up, etc. and no one came when they were supposed to. Tim told me that the buttons on Mom's bed weren't working and that the Head Nurse (Manager) confirmed it wasn't. The one on the remote worked, but even though the light got turned on at some point, the nurse who was working didn't respond in a reasonable time. Yeah, doesn't that make you feel good about the ICU???
I will try to call Sharon right after lunch time to see what kind of updates there are...so check back then.

Rather than get all worked up (I know my sister is handling things with the Head Nurse, although they may go and tell her to sit in the corner again) - I think we need to focus on praise today. Cousin Jan confirmed that it's time to praise the Lord - so we should. And what better way to praise than the lifting of our voices, hearts, and hands unto Him! Here's the chorus on my mind today. If you know it, use it when you're praying for Mom and giving thanks to God for what He has already accomplished and what He will do.
