On Tuesday evening, we made our first trek of the Christmas Season to see the lights at "Christmas in the Park". It's one of our favorite events that really puts you in the Christmas mood. There's just something about all those lights in the darkness that seems so pretty- especially when there's snow on the ground.
No, there's not snow on the ground here, but Zeke is still trusting God to brings "lots" this weekend.
"Christmas in the Park" is celebrating its 20th year this season and it seems better than ever. Every time we go, we look for what's new because they change things around and add new displays. Our favorite new display this year was the 12 Days of Christmas! Also another favorite is the snowflakes. I love those! They blink off and on like they are dancing their way to earth...except they are gianormous and already on the ground. Hey, a little imagination here!
My kids always like seeing the Snowman Family. There are actually 5 snow kids, but you can't see one in this picture. The kids thought they must have added one since we had a baby this year... but they didn't! LOL As you drive by, the snowman tips his hat. "Hello!" Hey, and watch out for that snowball that Junior is throwing! SPLAT.
