Expectant Prayers ®

I am asking all that would to pray for my dad today.  He is having his right leg bypass this morning.  His left leg is still healing from a bypass just a month ago.  It's been a lot for him to handle.  We are praying for strength and endurance and against infection and complications - also for a speedy recovery with minimal pain.

He is ready to get this "leg" of the journey completed so that he can go back to Ohio.  Pray for a safe return home, which we are anticipating around August 7th.  It's been an unbelievable 4 months since mom passed away!  Hopefully things will start to settle down soon!

We have come to live the words of Paul, "But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed."  2 Corinthians 4:7-9

The sustaining power from the Lord has been the only reason we have been able to endure and press forward!  Situations have been difficult, but our God is greater than anything we have faced.  We depend on Him to see us through.
