Simple pleasures are not hard to find... in fact they are all over the ground! After school yesterday, the kids decided there were enough fallen leaves to make a nice sized pile to play in. It's one of those indulgences that only happens once a season, so you can't hardly say no when they grab a rake and head out the door!
Titus was busy with home work and didn't make it out.. and of course Shad is not in the leaves!
I'll post some more pictures of Shad tomorrow. He's 9 weeks old now!
One more thing... a bit of good news; my glucose screen came back normal, so I don't have to worry about diabetes at this point. I will have to be checked yearly now, but I am glad that they were fine.
