Trying to Keep Busy

I hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend.   My family had a peaceful weekend, but I must admit it was so cold it didn't feel like Easter normally feels.  The kids were out hunting for their eggs with winter coats on and I hear tell that there could be snow this week.  For those of you who may live further up north or in more mountainous regions, snow and cold weather may not be too out of the ordinary for your Easter holiday, but it's NOT normal here.  And to think a few weeks ago, it was in the 80's!

My father-in-law took some pictures of the family all dressed up in our teal Easter clothes.  I will post a photo as soon as I am able to!

This week is probably going to turn out to be one of the busiest and most interesting weeks of the entire year for our family.  We are anxiously awaiting promotional news for my husband and there are a bundle of doctors appointments scheduled for this week (including our much anticipated ultrasound).  Having so much going on has also made me a bundle of nerves.  I am trying not to dwell too much on the rest of the week and stick with today.  Of course, I have found plenty of things to preoccupy my mind while I wait... making deviled eggs with left over colored eggs my mother-in-law gave me,  using up some ripe bananas in two quick breads, and trying to get the kids to go through all their dresser drawers for spring!  I also have a few things I am trying to get done before next month... all of which take time and energy.    I must admit I am lacking in both (time and energy).   I will do my best to keep busy this week and as soon as news events happen, I will be sure to post!!

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!
