Expectant Prayers ®

Jennifer Jo Weiss

Where the Rubber Meets the Road

Now is where the rubber will meet the road.  Are we going to talk the talk or are we going to walk the walk?   If you have been following my blog over the past month, we have had a clear word and vision from the Lord about the direction our nation was headed.

I want you to hear these words today and let them sink into your spirit....

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."  Isaiah 41:10

OR in the Message:

"Don't panic. I'm with you.
There's no need to fear for I'm your God.
I'll give you strength. I'll help you.
I'll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you. "

You either believe God is in control or you don't and my prayer is that your faith and determination are not tossed around in the storm or dependent upon who is in the White House.  We serve the King of Kings and the Lords of Lords.  He knew this was going to happen and for those who have ears to hear, He is preparing the way and directing our path.  So, don't fear.  Turn your eyes upon Jesus and fix yourself upon Him, His Word, and His will.

Our election is a Spiritual temperature gauge for the nation!  The line has been drawn in the sand and many - even those calling themselves Christians have crossed the line.  We, however, must remain on the Lord's side.

My prayers today go out to those who feel they have been let down by God because this one or that one told us the outcome was definitely going to go a certain way and they expected God to answer the delusions of our own minds.   May God speak to you and encourage you today!

One thing all Christians need to erase from their minds:  God isn't punishing the church for not praying hard enough or effectively enough.  We have done our part and now we are all in God's hands.  The will of the people has spoken.   For those who have insisted that apostolic order is being restored to this nation (as if God's kingdom and the kingdoms of this world are synonymous) my prayer is that the truth has become evident to you!

The Bible still guides us and is being fulfilled right before our very eyes.  There is no doubt that the last days are upon us.  Study the Word and prepare for what is ahead.  God would not have us ignorant concerning these things.  He will not leave us.    God will protect His people wherever they are.  I was reading today in Exodus 8 and 9;  under the strong arm of Pharaoh, God sent the plagues... yet the people who dwelt in the land of Goshen (the Israelites) were not harmed.  There were no flies, no hail, no darkness.  The light shone in Goshen.

This verse stuck out to me today and sparked a fire in my spirit:

"And I will put a division between my people and thy people: tomorrow shall this sign be."  Exodus 9:5

Don't Quit Praying!

If you felt a huge draw to pray for the elections, you need to care just as much if not more in the hour we live!

We must be in prayer for the church as we will be hated in these last days because of Christ.  I pray that God's Spirit will be poured out on His people so that we can stand in the days ahead.   Pray for God's divine protection on the body of Christ.

We must continue to pray for our government and especially those who are Joseph's of our day - those God has elevated to positions of authority for such a time as this.   We all must operate in the capacity that God has called us to in this final hour.  Whatever our hand finds to do, we must do it with all of our might.

Prayer will keep us focused on God and centered in His will.  Pray for discernment!

Call to Repentance!

Don't let anything come between you and God.  This is not the time to be bowing to your sins and weaknesses.  Take up the armor of God and guard yourself against the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy.

Walk with Love and Compassion!

Remember that we wrestle not with flesh and blood, but against Spiritual forces that are in operation in this dark world.  Do not hate those who fight against God.  We are called to love them.  We do not have to like what they do, but our God is compassionate and merciful and doesn't wish to see anyone perish.  There is a harvest that is coming.  We need to be about the Lord's work until He comes.

Continue in the Faith!

I urge you to continue in and contend for the faith.  What we believed in yesterday should not falter!  Life, values, morals, faith, family.... these are core beliefs that cannot be diminished.  There are not "small matters", but the foundation of a people.

Change is Here!

My final thought today is...CHANGE is here and keep in mind that every day we live we are closer and closer to His return.  You do not need to fear the days ahead.  May God's holy remnant be transformed in this hour by the power of His love and might!

Be encouraged today because we serve a God whose name is higher than any other name that can be spoken on this earth.  He is our Father and we are His children.  Glory to His name - now and forevermore!
