Expectant Prayers ®

Jennifer Jo Weiss

Late Update - 9pm CST

My sister and her husband arrived at the hospital a little after 4:30pm.   I talked with them  a little while ago.  They were in the room with Mom and I could hear Mom talking.  Next thing I knew -  my brother-in-law put the phone up to her ear and I was able to say "I love you".  She talked a little, but you can tell she is very weak.

My brother-in-law said that a doctor in the group with her General Practitioner told them this evening that they do not plan on doing surgery or any scope at this time.  They are siding (diagnosis wise) with the hemorrhaging polyps and think it would be best to leave her alone.  The doctor told them they would watch her and possibly move her out of intensive care tomorrow into a room.  She will be there for several days.  Sharon was not able to spend the night there since Mom is in intensive care.  That probably works out better for all of them and they will be more rested for tomorrow.  If there are any changes, they will be notified at the house.    They made sure Dad ate and hopefully he is sleeping now.

They're still watching her blood too.  We haven't heard word back on any of the results.  We would like to have some information there as well as the biopsy results on the polyps.

A lot can change in 24 hours as we have seen today.  We've been on the roller coaster of emotions trying hard to remain in "our seat" of faith.  Even on the roller coaster, we still managed to lift our hands to the Lord.  We are praising God for His faithfulness and healing power tonight.

We know that HE is the only reason she is still here this evening.

Thanks again for all the prayers!  May God richly bless you for standing in the gap!
