It's that time of year again when kids all over the country don their caps and gowns! GRADUATION IS HERE!
When announcements arrive at my house, my first reaction is, "You've got to be kidding! I remember when he/she was born!" I start reliving memories of the graduate- thinking about them and wondering what they will do next in life. Then I try to decide what I can give them that is meaningful for graduation. Over the years, I've discovered that PRAYER is one of the best gifts to bestow on those who are just getting ready to venture into adulthood and start a life on their own. Maybe you can do the same! Jot down verses that have meant something to you over the years. Gift a new Bible or a graduates
This year I found this prayer to include in graduation cards, which I would like to share with all of you out there. The author is unknown. I also included a verse on the end.

A GRADUATE’S PRAYER
As I look toward the future
Bright hope conducts this prayer,
For I know the plans You have for me
Were wrought with divine care.
Holy Spirit, lead me.
Let me run at your command,
Yet be still and know that You are God
When trouble's close at hand.
Your Word will be a lamp for me,
A guide to light my way,
A solid place to set my feet,
A compass when I stray.
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD,
"plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give
you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
